Sign for Thoughts is delighted to be running the Signature Deafblind Level 3 Course

*Next course: 2023

Having seen that there was a huge gap for more Deafblind awareness, Sign for Thoughts introduced the iBSL Level 1 qualification 4 years ago, and has since launched Level 2 and Level 3 after such high demand for the course.

The theory element of the IBSL DEAFBLIND AWARENESS COURSE is included in our Signature Level 2 Award in Communicating and Guiding with Deafblind People Course.

Our Deafblind delivery has been an amazing success, we have now trained over 80 students. We have run training courses in the South East, Derby, Leicester and Ireland, as well as CPD training for CSWs/ Interpreters and Lipspeakers.

We are now on our 6th cohort of delivering Level 2 Deafblind communication and the standard of students is so high, we are excited to now offer the Signature Level 3 LATER THIS YEAR (2023)

A Level 3 course will enable development in functional Deafblind Communication to a level where there is ease in the working relationship between a Deafblind person and the communicator requiring the ability to exchange, present and understand information, ideas, advice and opinions at a normal speed.
