DEAFBLIND TRAINING DAY this Thursday 7th July 2016
We are delighted to be delivering the
iBSL Level 1 Award in Deafblind Awareness Course at Sign for Thoughts on 7th July 2016 from 10am till 4pm.
Suitable training for ALL
This qualification will be covered in 1 days training with an assessment at the end of the day.
The cost is £100 course fee plus £24 assessment day.

Advanced Linguistics Course
There is still the opportunity to join Rachel Sutton-Spence for any OR all the days of her
Summer Linguistics Course .
The course runs on Thursday 21st & Friday 22nd July AND Thursday 28th & Friday 29th July.

New class in Andover
We have a new BSL Level 1 Award Course starting in Andover from September 2016. This class will run on Thursdays from 7-9pm .
As usual we have our Farnborough based classes on Tuesday afternoons and Evenings and Thursday evenings.
We offer payment in instalments as a way of spreading the cost and our friends at CSSEF may be able to offer a grant to parents of Deaf child who wish to learn BSL (go to their wishes page at http://www.cssef.org.uk)

Interview and Selection Day 7th Sept 2016
Interpreter Training Programme (Part 1)
Sign for Thoughts is holding an interview session on 7th Sept 2016 for candidates who feel they are ready to take the plunge towards qualification or for pre interpreter training. This will involve meeting the team of Assessors and teaching staff, taking part in a series of assessments, including a role play, a group and 1-to-1 interview and time for open Q & A.
A decision and if appropriate feedback as to whether candidates can be offered a place will be sent. The course start 7th October 2016 , Fridays and Saturdays once a month for 10months.
You may be able to enrol on 'Next Step; developing the skills' whilst simultaneously working towards your Level 6 BSL qualification (Signature NVQ or iBSL). Please contact us to enquire as to your options.
Please note, students who wish to INTERVIEW for the 'Level 6 NVQ Diploma in Sign Language Interpreting' should book for 10th November 2016 for a January 2017 start.
