Hello, my name is Victoria but I prefer call Vicky.

I have been supporting the teaching of British Sign Language (BSL) since 2019, helping to build my confidence and develop my skills in teaching both adults and children. I love seeing people learn new things and become more aware of Deaf culture and the importance of communication.

I am passionate about the power of sign language and believe strongly in promoting BSL as a language. I encourage learners to follow the right path and use correct handshapes, supporting them every step of the way.

I recently joined the team at Sign for Thoughts as a sign language tutor, which is an exciting opportunity to share my knowledge and enthusiasm.

People say I look a little like “Stitch,” and I have a good sense of humour!

Outside of teaching, I love spending time with my family and friends, enjoying the great outdoors, visiting new places, and staying active. Running and exercise are my happy place—they keep me going and feeling positive. 🤍
