I have been teaching beautiful BSL since 2017 as a freelancer before I had the privilege of joining the SfT team in Jan 2023. I have another full-time job working in the hospital as an Assistant Audiologist but BSL will always have my heart.
The journey of how I decided to become a BSL teacher started when I was as young as 11 years old. I remember clearly when I was at our holiday house in France, my late dad asked me what I wanted to do in my future career, I said I wanted to teach BSL. He was very supportive and said he believed in me and that he thought I could be excellent at this, which I took seriously. I have never looked back.
I live with my husband Matt and my beautiful cat Obi so you might be lucky enough to catch a glimpse during a remote class sometime.
